In October we showed you the 3D images of the new bikes at the top of the koxx 26" range, The Koxx Hydroxx & Sky 2009, and more recently, in the article The 2009 26" Sky, the first official photos of the new range. We were expecting them to be light, (lighter frames, new super-light components like single wall rims with square holes) and looking at the figures, K-124 have brought out a collection of bikes that are among the lightest on the market, with the 26" models flirting with the 9kg barrier. We were also expecting moderate geometries, conforming to what seems to have become the norm: +45, 1085, 380... but no: K-124 have brought out a collection of bikes for all tastes, some with geometries that leave the norm far behind, some even have a +60mm BB!
So here, direct from the K-124 Shop in Paris, are the first photos of the Orange, Grey, Silver, Purple & Black Sky, which will be officially unveiled at K-124 Days 2009! The Skies are great little bikes, the detail on the forks, which match the frames, is especially nice, and the steerer tube has been painted as well. These bikes will be available in about two months. They will come fitted as standard with a Try-All Hole rim on the front and a standard Try-All rim on the rear.
